Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2008 Bowl-a-Thon. Teams of bowlers of all skill levels participated in this great event to raise money for Friends of the Children. We are happy to announce that we exceeded our goal of $60,000! This event was a fun way to spend a day with caring people, with the goal of providing a Friend to more children in the Portland metropolitan area. During each session, our bowling teams were able to play two games while having lots of fun. For every $250 a bowler raises, we are offering the chance to win this year's grand prize of a Las Vegas Getaway vacation. This getaway includes non-stop airfare from Portland to Las Vegas, 3 nights at a 4-star deluxe hotel on the strip, dinner at a hot, new restaurant, and much more. In the coming weeks, prize winners will be announced.
