Classic Wines Auction The Friend Raiser Bowl-a-Thon Marti Mendenhall Concert Murder and Martinis Holidays with the Trail Band Classic Wines Auction Oregon Convention Center March 3, 2012 What began as a small group of friends exchanging wine from personal collections to raise funds for one organization has evolved into one of the top ten charity wine auctions in the United States. Friends of the Children is pleased to have been selected again as one of the four benefiting charities from the 2011 Classic Wines Auction. The 13th Annual Friend Raiser Friends of the Children Offices May 10, 2012 Friend Raiser is a unique evening of philanthropy where almost 700 of the community's business and social leaders come together, while enjoying gourmet foods from Portland’s top restaurants. The evening begins with a silent auction and wraps up in the “big tent” with a live program that highlights the many talents of our program youth followed by a brief live auction. 2011 Friends of the Children Bowl-a-Thon October 2012 Join us for this year's Bowl-a-Thon benefitting Friends of the Children-Portland! Teams of bowlers of all skill levels are invited to participate in this fun event. An Evening with Marti Mendenhall A Benefit Concert for Friends of the Children October 2012 Jazz singer Marti Mendenhall takes the stage in a benefit concert for Friends of the Children.  Her solo performance of classic Jazz tunes begins at 7:30 pm on October 29th, 2011 at the First Unitarian Church. Murder and Martinis An Evening with Phillip Margolin November 2012 Spend the evening with New York Times Bestselling Author Phillip Margolin at the garden atrium of Bedford Brown Interiors in NW Portland. Holidays with the Trail Band The Aladdin Theater December 2012 The Trail Band concert series benefiting Friends of the Children-Portland will return to The Aladdin Theater this December.
