The 2012 Friend Raiser presented by KeyBank Friends of the Children Offices May 10, 2012 The 12th Annual Friend Raiser Raises Over $1.4 Million! More than 750 of Portland’s business and community leaders gathered together on Thursday, May 12, 2011 for the 2011 Friend Raiser presented by KeyBank. This year's event raised more than $1.4 million! Thanks to the continued success of this event, Friends of the Children has been able to provide professional mentors to more of our community’s most vulnerable children. We have increased the number of youth we serve to over 350 children in over 100 schools in the Portland metropolitan area. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all sponsors, donors, guests, volunteers and everyone involved in making each Friend Raiser a huge success! We hope you'll join us next year!
